Update
8/2/03 - Ruby was fortunate to be in foster care for
quite awhile. Sadly, her foster parents found themselves
in a tough situation and she was welcomed back home to TIER.
During her foster stay, Ruby was taught to halter, bathe,
load, clip, tie. She was also started on trail and learned
to drive a bit. She is a sensible girl, just unknowing.
She needs a home with someone willing to spend the time
and effort to teach her so that she can demonstrate just
how awesome she can be!!
6/27/05
- We are delighted to announce that Ruby has found a home.
She will have her very own person named Suzette, pasture
to play in and a new friend that is also a mare! Suzette
inquired about Ruby, made the journey to come visit &
work with her and there was an instant connection! We look
forward to hearing about Suzette & Ruby's blossoming
relationship and hope to have pictures of Ruby in her new
digs!
Update 11/2009 - Sienna (Ruby) is doing fine and is running the hills of Lake County with her best friend, Lacey. They look like mutt and jeff because the one is so tall and the other is short and round. Both mares were just moved to my friends 300 acre property with her horses to have fun roaming the hills under the oak trees instead of being locked up in a box stall.
I have enclosed a picture of Sienna and Lacey during playtime.
Besides Lacey, she has 5 other brothers and sisters to hang out with, although, Lacey is the only one she will tolerate. She does not play well with others.
Anyway, I hope all is well with you and your venture!
