Diana
#199.
Chestnut Arabian Mare, 3 white feet, strip, star, large snip.
Appx.
14 hands.
Appx. 18 - 20 yrs. This mare is the sweetest girl on the ground.
She even
gave me a hug! Likes to be petted and talked to. She patiently
listened
to me ramble on while other horses were moving around her. She
is a
little spicy under saddle and would require an advanced intermediate
rider.
Kelly
C. (who is the savior of Precious Gem and also contributed the
starting funds for our Emergency Fund) rallied
support from a wonderful man named Jeffrey
A. who wanted to help horses. These two fantastic folks were
not alone in their wish for safe homes
for horses in need. Roger and Susan N.
of Save Horses from Slaughter jumped in and.........as a result
of a concentrated effort the these horses
now have a new home with Roger & Susan!
Way to go team!!!
Update
10/10/00 - Diana has perked up since she first arrived. I think
she is really enjoying her new home. Her feet are in great shape
but she needs a little weight on her. She and Fantasia share
a small pasture with a BLM Mustang gelding rescue named Ford.
Diana will follow you around like a puppy and she gives the
best hugs.
