Ah...Delaware! We watched you arrive a hollow, broken shell of a horse..but far from empty inside. You not only filled out, you filled up the hearts of others as you walked gracefully upon the grass. When asked to give..again...you gave. And what did you give? You gave us you! You showed us that no matter how starved, how physically wasted, how emotionally neglected you had been, you were a true horse. A living, breathing creature of God that was willing one more time to give, unconditionally, to those that loved you and that you loved. We watched you begin to mend and to slowly leave us. You had done your job. You allowed us to hold you in our hearts as you crossed the Rainbow Bridge to be with friends that had gone before you and to be there to greet new friends.

Delaware..a true innocent. A true friend.
