We were made aware by another horse rescue of a rescue who had left the property they were located at and took 100 animals with them. They left horses, pigs, birds, etc. behind. (Holy Guacamole! Why do people do this to living, breathing, feeling animals???) ANOTHER rescue stepped in to assist with the starving/abandoned animals. The rescue that shared the information and the rescue assisting with the remaining animals reached out to help place the horses. TIER offered to take in an Arabian Mare whom we will be calling Camille.

8/5/2022 - The Diva

Thanks to TIER friend Brooke, CAMILLE showed off some of her Diva in the roundpen.

She also displayed her humility (HA!) regarding photos of her divaness.

11/29/2021 - The Tooth Fairy & The Princess

In typical Arabian Mare Princess style, Camille was dancing all the way to the barn to have her teeth taken care of by Dr. Johnson. Not only does she have the attention of all the geldings with her flirting, she definitely thinks she is royalty! HA!

It is obvious that she had some handling in the past, but she really needs a long refresher course. She is approachable and sweet, but when leading her to the barn she had that La-La-La dancing stuff going on.

Dr. Johnson estimated her to be about 10 yars old which was a surprise to us as we had been told she was older. She did require a second shot of sedative just to keep her grounded while he worked on her teeth. I think she was wide awake by the time we returned her to her stall! She is just gorgeous!
